Poem
He gave me unconditional, abundant grace He gave me unbelievable faith during life’s regretless race The light of life is what I truly try to embrace In this darkened world of loveless lust, this world of disgrace Agape Love - extremely tranquil... What does love mean to you? Is it true? Life’s tribulations is such a large pill To swallow and we wallow in grief too There is daunting darkness amongst us now There is distress along with hatred somehow Call us out of darkness into light of sheer delight You gave us pure knowledge and you exhibit insight Our sins will be forgiven Mercy is what allows us to take wing We are left unforgotten In His memory of Love so mesmerizing Producer of peace, Give us more than this...release... Give us relief in times of terrible trouble Give us no more grief below the rubble Change in heart wins righteousness and truth’s way of life Strange how time flies beyond the substantial, sensational strife The way of life is light with might Like a fantastic hippogriff in flight Fervent, yet flourishing freedom is at each other’s reach I beseech to set you free from the corruption of evil speech Let your dazzling light shine upon men and observe the good works therein once again Again, I tell you - be the source of Light and bring back to life your adoration’s adrenalin You’ve been naked and ashamed...naked and ashamed Let me clothe you with glistening glory once more Your flames of unbearable uncertainty was untamed Let me brew it all away and restore grace in store Honesty and modesty go hand in hand I understand where our airplanes land Things got out of hand unfortunately and we are like a split band... But, together, we can be a liberating beachside of sand Let’s have a rather remedial reality check - I was hungry and sought for His unconditional truth And I was thirsty for Love’s beautiful peck Yes, I was as useless and fragile as a broken tooth Lust took over... But God says please love one another I’m left unsure... God says keep believing, loving and endure There, you’ll find That we aren’t so blind If you don’t mind, Let us not be left behind Because the light of Life Will rise up above the surface of joyous happiness Come out of worldly strife And a renewal of faith beyond the hopelessness A change of heart Will not tear us apart From the start, we sought the light of life of spiritual progress We will fight for the ardent, gracious flight of our fearlessness
