Poem
Walking the lonely streets of dreams, Encountering hurdles, He came riding, Disrupting my senses, Triggering all emotions @Tilde Been beaten up on the assembly ground, Like an unrepentant sinner, In front of Barbies with beautiful smiles Not a drop of tear came, I put on a smile like they did. Because after, the ladies will come closer and hail my heroics. ©?BobMayor I trembled with the fear of the unknown, With no expectations, I tried to run to into his protective arms, I couldn't, Everything felt numb, Like the stillness of the night. @Tilde Fight me in my dreams, Burn me up like a thief, Crucify me for my sins, And make my pay immediately, So when I wake, I'll be a new being ©?BobMayor Oh, how much I longed for safety, As I come closer to his arms the farther his reach from me outstretched, With uncertainties in my heart, I wondered how long before this moment ends, The atmosphere felt stiff @Tilde I'll go through the memory lane, From the city of heartbreak, To the streets of lies, Then will sleep on the bed of unfaithfulness, All, to feel the love you offered in the beginning. ©?BobMayor They came for me, with charms and planks. They said, will use him. I felt my head pounding, i ran for my life. Only for me to wake up on the other side of my bed, With melodious voices, wishing me a happy birthday. ©?BobMayor Lightening struck the ghosts Frightening me, he reached out, pulling me close, His heartbeats calmed my thunderous heart, Shading and tucking away frightful images, Of nightmares I wouldn't want to recall @Tilde Bundled in his arms, My heart strung, with a soothing voice, he said "it's alright, it's only a dream" I wept, holding on tightly to him, Relieving my mind, it was only a dream Such is the joy of nightmares @Tilde I drank from the cups of darkness, Eating from the plates of Depression, And swimming in the pool of low self-esteem, But it wasn't the end of me, It was the beginning, As it brought out my hidden light. ©?BobMayor
