Poem

Sun woke me up
With its merciless rays,
Slicing through the cold troposphere
And dancing to the fiery exquisiteness,
I sat on my revolving chair, 
Capturing my judgements
That recoiled from the walls
Of my cage.
Till noon I mused
Over the unfinished works I had
And the amount of time 
Of which I was a master of, now.
But the lazy enchantress in me have taken over
And I just sat on my revolving chair.
Then the sorceress of guilt came
And tortured me to fragments
But the angel in me stayed isolated,
From my essence, my consciousness,
I let on the guilt to torment me more.
I ate to my heart’s content, breakfast, lunch and dinner,
And ate my burned opinions as well,
Former gave me strength and pleasure
While latter gave me lucidity.
And then I saw the moving star,
That turned out to be shining from the reality,
Something for a first-time experience,
A reason to go out of my confinement,
A purpose to inhale the fresh air, watch the night skies,
To liberate, feel the cold open air, touch the bare earth,
I went out to the unembellished environment
With the usual human beings of my quarantined life
And gawked at the night sky
Waiting until we all smiled in bewilderment
As we followed the path of International Space Station in its orbit.
