Passion in waves, intense they pummel

Rolling me over & over & over.

Crushed. Help me grow; 

Go on, depart, now - a head start

With all this crap stuck in these spokes

Might slow me down, but watch me folks 

I’ll turn it around

Done it before, no big deal,

I’m meant to heal. What I need, is to unload,

unseal, reveal, do not conceal, 

This great upheaval. Out of commission

On a mission - no more deadly killers

of Souls n Spirits.

Alone, I battle demons

No one knows the much I’ve grown

I unburden, all the hurtin’ 

from all those fears over the years.

I still stand tall.

Can you feel me - stuck in the middle

This twisted riddle? 

Why keep the fight - which he delights

Against the wall; I will not fall

I still stand tall – won’t make me small!

I try to smile, it’s congealed

Been awhile, this longest mile.

I need a break. Much more to take?

Still crushing me; I cannot breathe

I hafta leave, let go, forget

Let’s hope I have at least one trick

left up my sleeve. Oh pretty please!

Been so long that same old song

the love is gone. 

Too much pain. Strain. Drained. 

Oh God – don’t say,

That in this bed I lay, I made

I cannot stay, I don’t belong

Here; no surprise, shoulda been more wise

I’d have seen the signs, recognized the lies 

Hiding in plain sight 

Reaching out after all these years; 

Please empathize, cuz I’m so damn tired.

Shedding all these tears, I'm running dry, 

And they continue 

To fall upon deaf ears; I cried, I screamed 

Wasted all those years.

Will I fend, lend me a friend,

a helping hand? Maybe take a stand

around the bend, wanting

to defend the true & just?

This broken heart, won’t fall apart –

a couple cracks, won’t hold me back.

On the mend, I begin again.

Oh no, you don’t 

Save me - that one’s on me

Ill save myself & all I missed

I'm not alone, never was. I'm not afraid;

Can you, oh heart, love one again

You know I can, you know I am.

Made of Love – I rise above.

Can’t keep me down.

Oh, my heart, you’re so intense –

right into shape you pop again;

Back to life, my heart, so nice. 

It cannot be handled;

They can’t grasp, don’t understand it.

I sat, I pondered. 

Made me wonder- where's the one 

who's gonna grab it? Match it?

Did we hafta dig outta the rubble

we got stuck under, after our stumble?

In eyes of fierce tornadoes we were put asunder?

Our ancient, unaware selves ..

It’s good, we learned

We grew, from the burns.

Well aware, we appreciate

Won’t take for granted, won't waste a minute.

A kiss, pure bliss, never wanna miss

Every wish come true.

No conditions, no repetitions,

Goodbye. There’s only Now 

To give, not keep

Down down we travel, we go so deep

Haven’t lost at all, here I am, back again.

Time to love, time to fly - t's do this friend, You & I

Get on up, you know you can

Reach! Jump! And Touch that Sky!

Every word, worn like a cape,

A great escape; you give me wings, 

Now I soar, I reach right in; oh my oh my 

Oh Soul, goosebumps

Bowling me over, am I drunk?

Better sober up, the dance ain’t over.

Take my hand; I know you know 

You understand; ain't it just' grand -

Make a stand & go for broke!
