AN ANGEL MY ANGLE How mysteriously and perfectly awesome it would be, If I found what I wanted, but had to climb the highest tree Like Jack and the Bean stalk, right into the heavenly clouds And far beyond, provided the beanstalk, was strong, wanted no doubts! I would send God an email, He is my best friend, tell Him who I am, Also explain that I came from Planet Earth, and my name is Sam, And that I apologise but it would take too long if I waited for an invitation, Go start your travels, said The Mad Hatter, you have done many a preparation! Alice fell fast asleep, weird she admitted later, for I followed the Mad Hatter! Started my climb towards God's Land, found Saint Peter at the gate, who said, Glory, What are you doing here dear girl, your name has not yet been chosen, I want to find an angel Saint Peter, I said, this has always been my passion! He directed me along Paradise Street, where children and dogs played I was enchanted, they looked so happy and people kneeling, they prayed For souls arriving today, but not as I had, up a beanstalk, but as in star wars, Space ships, which landed frequently at Gabriel airport, Heavens corps! I was determined I wanted to find an angel who would be mine, a guardian angel I said to Saint Peter, could I take her home with me, now that was my angle, Or would that not be allowed, I also want her to be my real life poetry muse And help me with my poems and add, true celestial affirmation, could I chose? I’m afraid not, said Saint Peter, what I can do is let you have a peek at who is in plot seven, It’s your Guardian Angel ,I couldn’t believe my eyes, I was alive, how was I in Heaven, Saw my Dad I was shocked, he couldn’t see me, I could not hold back my tears He looked so happy, made my heart glad as he sang, it was music to my ears! It was time to go back, wait said Saint Peter, our Archangel Michael, will fly you back down, And that is the last I remember, I awoke and my mom was there, she wore a frown, I was worried about you, you've been asleep for at least four to five hours, and you were talking, This dream was significant in my life and would be so forever, the sky lit up with lightening! So between the stars and the Milky Way, Alice, the Mad Hatter and Jacks Beanstalk, I had a dream, Many a character and God involved, in fact a story, which to complete, took quite a team!
