Poem

At the start of your day,
The sunlight resumes,
The children still play,
And they nap in their rooms,

The rich are still rich,
And the poor are still poor,
But which one is which,
And which one is more?

The dreamers still dream,
And the cunning contrive,
The lazy may seem,
To be less than alive,

The parent still struggles,
With debts that are owed,
With plenty of snuggles,
To lighten the load,

A girl and her lover,
Are learning to dance,
But will they discover,
The song of romance?

The laundry is done,
And the dinner is served,
The victory won,
Is most wholly deserved,

The desert is dry,
But the ocean still roars,
The songbird can fly,                                                      
But the eagle still soars,

The future is bright,
And your love is the way,
To fly like a kite,
At the start of your day!
