Made like Him, like Him we rise, Alleluia!
Ours the cross, the grave, the skies, Alleluia!

Christ rose from the dead on Easter day;
For me, for you, for every person, Alleluia!
In churches or anywhere we pray;
Oh, though betrayed he still loved, Alleluia!

Did HE have flashes of his earthly life;
During those beatings and floggings, Alleluia !
Or when his suffering cut like a knife;
Oh, though betrayed he still loved, Alleluia!

Condemned to be crucified did HE recall;
Why his father had forsaken him, Alleluia!
Did he see his childhood when he had to crawl;

Oh, when they nailed his hands and feet;
