Soon there will be temperatures that will show 
Forecast predicting snow 
Coming down creating blankets that are white 
Packed together thrown when in a fight 
Everything seems magical as it drops 
Festive music enhances need to shop 
Even though 
It is ten below 
Off to the market letting more money go 
When the year turns 
Heaters orange red as they burn 
During calendar page number one 
Chilly despite rays from the sun 
Gigantic covers by a fire romantic and fun 
Recovering after the work is done 
Month turns two 
Expression heard ‘I love you’ 
American Presidents have an honor which is cool 
Holiday tri tempting and true 
Coming in like a lion or lamb 
Blurring the cold plan 
Hitting a jam 
Heat rising taking a stand 
St Patrick’s lucky Irish have a day 
Kiss me buttons do say
Corn beef and cabbage served warding off snake’s fear 
Bringing hope and cheer 
Spring steps in 
Taking it on the chin 
Question “Where have you been?” 
“Haven’t seen you in a while” 
Answering with a smile 
Turning the weather dial 
“A vacation not long 
Hung out in tropics listening to steel band songs 
Rested and feeling good 
Ready for a summer ditching wintry looking hoods 
Putting on protective lotion 
Modern potion 
Careful due to roasting” 
Enjoy whatever the degree
That stipulates what type of ski 
One on water that is fluffy ice 
Or placid tranquil calm warming up nice 
Change in season 
Ever so pleasing 
Besides being challenge and teasing  
Making one think that is the reason 
Take every moment in stride 
Remembering it is only a natural ride
That comes and goes like an oceanic tide
