In my zombie time
I see no reason or rhyme
For the Monster mine

Where is drawn the line
Between the soul and the mind
That it hides behind

There light will not shine
In darkness cold and unkind
Rooms it cannot find

Pain that tears and binds
Fear to fetter and confine
Just some of the signs

Screaming in my head
The evil one wants me dead
So, the Monster said

A study in red
Monster doesn’t want me dead
Torture me instead

Monster wants me bled
The Daemon wants to be fed
Feeling total dread

Daemons all aligned
To hell my soul is consigned
My death is assigned

Taking drugs and wine
Not a cure for thee and thine
Wacked out to the nines

Cannot run and hide
No solution suicide
Only you’ll have died

For you they will pine
All your loved ones left behind
That route’s asinine

The Monster’s inside
You see the Zombie outside
A maddening ride

Exiled from mankind
The Monster is not refined
Daemons undefined

Quick definition
Monster's bipolar
Disorder you see

Daemon's alcohol
Addiction that has slowly
Taken hold of me

One escaped his cage
The other broke free his chains
I am the Zombie
