Poem
Peasant girl was now a knight’s wife Enjoying the step up in life For a spell She left the desert in order for the two to gel One day working the romantic wishing well Relationship was not a kiss and tell Still giving the honeymoon a try With the trusting coyote companion at her side Acting like the survival guide Both enjoying the outdoor air Not noticing a potential scare Hidden inside the snow covered mountains Melting water like a fountain Things started to shake and stir An avalanche rumbled and purred Running back to the couple’s enchanting suite Hoping her beau the knight could perform a heroic feat Opening the door Mrs. Knight feeling frozen heat Yelled, “oh sweet!” No need to repeat The knight with the golden locks Was there when opportunity knocks “It is my goal To be ever so bold,” Giving him a hug On their matrimony rug “An avalanche went on a power play I do not know what to say!” After kissing Knight with golden locks went listening Coming up quickly with a goal To fight the crumbling cold Another avalanche suddenly occurred Two lovers watched the escaping birds Realizing there was a problem And they were at the bottom Penalizing nature claiming event foul One on one netter after which the knight took a bow Feeling nice and secure Still having a bride every so pure Fascinated with her mate’s idea that was a cure Everything seemed clear Until in his ear Came the words “oh dear” Avalanche took another shot Slab of ice looking for a resting stop “Honey, please make it stop?” Our faithful knight Was turning a seasonal fluffy white Needed extra time to think Avalanche pushing him to the brink Grabbing his magic stone Asking for assistance he did groan Suddenly everything was calm No sound of a wintry bomb Success in hand Once again the world no longer in a jam “Touché!” the knight did command Disaster avoided from a well thought out plan Due to the knight with golden locks taking a stand And building the mystical dam
