Poem
Like every mortal since Adam and Eve's transgression, I'm not perfect, but in The Church, The Bride of Christ is where I want to be. I'm not a self-proclaimed critic sitting on a high bar. I'm not a Christian claiming to be 'holier than thou'. I only know what I feel, what I sense, what I see. I'm neither prophet nor seer, but I know what I see. There are churches in what seems to be a valley paved with a roadway that is shaped like a "Y", called the Valley of Decision. There's no burning flame on the stove top, but I SEE A CHURCH unaware of its impending demise like the frog in the kettle. I hear a wake-up call from the heavens, but I SEE A CHURCH fast asleep like Rip Van Winkle who slept through the American Revolution. It has been a while since the Exodus, but I SEE A CHURCH enslaved in Egypt land. Presently, I'm not aware of an Exodus, but I SEE A CHURCH wandering in the wilderness and struggling to be led. Armed with weapons not made with hands, I SEE A CHURCH in conflict and at war with its worst enemy. It's not on the Island of Patmos, but I SEE A MODERNIZED AND WORLDLY CHURCH at ease in Zion and entangled in Laodicea. There is no food famine in America presently, but I SEE ANOTHER CHURCH hungry and thirsty for change, renewal, revival, restoration, and a move of God. We are nearing the crossroads of time and eternity where the sand in the hourglass is dropping rapidly, and I SEE THIS CHURCH, not in panic but preparation mode, and poised for a reset in anticipation for the last great awaking just before the 2nd coming of the KING of kings and LORD of lords!!! 080720PS
