Poem
As we then thus rest in dynamic stillness of innocence Attentively watching with a loving longing We detect ripples of thought as obstructive interference Blocking us from with our lover entwining Stilling not our stillness we now let stillness still our being Lowering walls of resistance we open the door wide Fearless & desireless simply love with love connecting We look nonchalantly at ego blockages anchored inside We begin with mind-body identification Attachments, fears & desires that holds us captive Recognising that we are much more than seeming limitation We plunge into the void igniting a spark reactive The kundalini then begins to awake! Stretching and yawning setting aside its long slumber It then has three pathways it may take Ida, Pingala and the Sushumna central funnel wonder As is said, well begun is half done So it is wise to be forewarned of obstructions we may face Unless residual fears in our subconscious are not undone We may be denied the elixir of divine grace The root is the wheel of Brahma connected to the ground That which binds us in linear time So unless we throw caution to the winds to connect beyond We cannot begin our journey to entwine with the divine sublime The next bridge offers choice between love and lust earthy The Swadishtana a trial that trips the high & mighty Then we approach fearful association with identity Courage resolute setting us free from the imaginary entity Having dealt with the Manipura focusing in resolve and courage We approach the heart wherefrom we began our journey A spacial domain of nonjudging love and wisdom of the sage We are welcomed therein as a prodigal son and make merry As we rest awhile at the Anahata spacial and boundless We draw in our identity now vibrating at higher frequency Feeling light as air ego feels an undefined restlessness Choosing to ascend abandoning all residual delinquency Domain of matter now assimilated we shift into the ethereal The Vishuddha a connector between form and formlessness Only those who are pure of heart may feel the appeal Of the unity between all manifestations of the That Absoluteness The Vishuddha in connecting with the Universe requires embrace Devoid of narrowness and fearfulness ego borne The pure of heart alone unhesitatingly rely fully upon divine grace With residual egoism, vicarious knowing and memory imagery shorn 01-August-2020
