Poem

Sky at Day and Night
     
         Day ends, eve fades dusk enters with dusty mask
         and releases mask lending to mystic night.
         Charcoal darkness asks sky canvas
         to paste periwinkle polka dots of stars
         twinkling, sparkling as spangles.
            
         Gaseous nebulae to wear the misty mask
         displaying hazy shadows 
         Ebon silhouette spreading through
         pieces of fluffy clouds in platoon.
         Mesmeric maroon Moon peeps on hide and seek game
         as observed from Earth on mirth.

         Cosmic flow wearing arcane veil always awake
         drifting in unknown zone, whether day or night.
         Meteors shower or starburst
         Nova or supernova on explosion
         happening any time any period.
         Day sky remains unaware.
                 
          Turquoise night turns to clear luminous day
           on promise of sunrise.
           Yet mystery prevails, accept as surmise.
