Poem

Even before I am, teeming, I was 
Formless, with no beginning and scattered
So it was in the many pages of my random dreaming.
I had no thoughts, no stringing desires
At least none that I knew that darkly mattered.

There was no time, no warm salty brine
In the brew there were no heavenly fires that grew
And no bodies divine in the fabric of space and time.
Light slows down to sound like a mighty trumpet with an ear, 
As I ponder in the night my weighty questions dear.
Who am I? What am I? And Why?
That said, I folded my boundless bed, and in my enigmatic head, did wander.

In the pregnant thunder the Infinite too did wonder
Words into matter He did scatter, up and down the Divine ladder.
His tongue rang the ether with verbs that sang:
Space expanded, and as God, He awoke with a bang!
