Poem
'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse....' ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 'Tis the season for the yules of good tidings For soon is the day in which we celebrate The birth of Our Lord.... Whom laid in a manger beneath the smiling stars As the Angels rejoiced from near and afar While as the sheperds they came And the wise men brought gifts Of gold and myrrh, and frankincence But the babies eyes, they just gazed into the night As His mother Mary, she pondered such light.... For how could this be that a virgin bore child Which Gabriel the mighty, had promised with a smile The savior of the world, amid the fruit of her womb To bring salvation to all, before entering His tomb.... For the baby He knew, his forth coming plight His purpose, the promise, from His Father on high! And 'tis the season that we soon celebrate this day As our hearts look toward the heaven Our souls, knowing the way.... Exchanging gifts and songs of praise Smiles upon faces, and love unrestrained Amid a world that is darkened We adorn these trees that we've made With colorful lights that glisten And hopes of salvation, that shall never abate! For today unto us 'A King is Born'~ Forever removing the death, by the curtain torn.... Within a small manger, amid the town Bethlehem The eyes of an infant, and the joys of all man? 'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse Rejoicing in the silence and knowing inside The womb of Elizabeth.... Where John the baptist, he lept with delight! While as the Angels proclaimed, unto all of this life Glory unto God, and good will, before all of their eyes~ As this child named Jesus, He never cried.... This prince, the king...."The King of All Tides" Merry Christmas unto all, and to all, a blessed night! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ Bethlehem ~ Note: The heading of this piece was taken from Clement Moore's, "The Night Before Christmas"....Circa: the nineteeth century!
