Releasing The Unchained Link of Light By love we are bound as Brothers and Sisters To the accord And though we live in very different worlds We are a unique division by our unity Our own awareness as complete individuals Our Separation by lives lived differently And how we see experience forms our expressions And defines our connections to what we perceive as real But in all our intricate and definitive conclusions There is only one truth residing in the spiritual We formulate our faith to our own answers By an original comprehension of the light in our hearts Yet we know that in this chalice of eternally divine waters Is where every mans path and every woman’s journey departs And although it may seem we do not know us And although we may wander miles between and from where we are Still by soul we are united in this sense of the timeless Joined by the light of loves single morning star Of no consequence is the language And description defies the essence of compassion in another’s eyes No written word can explain the instinct in the knowledge Of how we distinguish our truth; from our lies And to all the questions and answers there is only one reply And though we feel so very separate the very same pattern links us all A human tongue speaking with one voice which cannot deny The holy, the universal, the divine, the word eternal; Is “Love” Standing in the light we are so often blinded And led astray by the shadows that we cast Our innocence and ignorance by our judgement is reminded That we were not the first and none of us will be the last Standing in the light there are so many colours The light has so many shades and so many different hues A radiance with which it draws us closer as sisters and brothers To the single source of all our truths By love we are bound as Brothers and Sisters To this accord And how many of us wish that we could hold what our hearts demand To exult in our souls the reverberating depths of a united consensus To release the unchained link in our hand To release the unchained link in our hand Release the unchained link The unchained link Unchained link In our hand Standing in the light there are so many colours The light has so many shades and so many different hues A radiance with which it draws us closer as Sisters and Brothers To the single source of all our truths ( Dedicated To John Rhinem; Christie Moses; Lacy Verret; Sue Mason; all those who have been so kind to comment on my work. Thank you so much )
