There is a continuum
Of popular opinion
Regarding the origin

Of the fearsome hurricane*
That devastated England
With threat of oblivion;

Apparently everyone
Has complained in unison
Of the harsh, horrendous wind.

Someone from the Amazon
Has written a poem thereon
With the kindest intention.

*My English husband says this term is not used for their storms.  Praise be for poetic licence!
