Poem
Don`t give up hope my friend You will soon be able to smile again Don`t give up hope my friend This four years battle will soon come to an end The people are walking around the town wearing a terrible frown Hands on jaws pockets on knees with humiliation jumping up and down in the second degree The sun has burnt the passion out of them And something else is coming around the bend I can see it creeping on top of the mountain Looking around quietly for a secret fountain It is resting on top of the hill and it gives me a terrible chill A dust storm is creeping upon the lawn, A dust storm that storm will appear just before dawn It is coming with a slight grievance and it is going to cause you to cry out to the heavens Don`t give up hope my friend you will be walking in the cold before the days grow old, This is the modern day storm that will bring everyone to their feet and make you fall down at the savior feet It will make landfall before dawn and you must prepare for the second shake before my spirit starts to shake You have to go through it all so be strong and stand up tall You must listen to your heart beat and sing a song when The journey is complete some will overcome it and others will not be able to survive it but you must fasten your feet to the ground and don`t tumble down your feet fastened on the land See them coming and going along, see them trying the revived the old song, but some were just not strong to withstand the terrible sand, it throws them into the air tossing their bodies everywhere, The old could not survive it and the young could not withstand it The sound of ambulance wheeling around with Searching above the mist for something that could not be found The rubbles or the shovels has created much trouble I thought the morning but it drench the evening proper They have waited very long for the morning to be done But the evening with the hustlers last song waited patiently For everyone to sing along, with face down on the ground He made the final gasp as the dust swirl around the place Don`t give up hope my friend when one man`s journey is end Don`t give up hope my friend when you find yourself in the red Many are looking for consolation in their nation but there is none When nothing is happening and the people are crying The people will finally understand who is the gate keeper The sun is sucking the energy out of them But the message that is profound That destiny has finally reached this miserable town
