Poem
They are moving slowly around the curb Penetrating the city that is full of nerves They are circling around the town with a temper that has outgrown their raw emotions nerves meeting with nerves and nerves pinching Nerves.Bad men moving around the town speaking dirty and threatening words that are profound They move from corner to corner creating much disorder and everyday their voices get louder. They are criss crossing the country with an attitude, and at the back of their mind they are commiting villianeous crimes. They have their henchmen around infiltrating cities and towns, with words of cruelty and hate as they break through the frantic gates They flash their rachet knives, and fiddle with their guns and the tell the people that Jamaica is on the run They are coming around the bend with badmen shouting with them, the young fear them, the old fear Them but I am determined to stand up and face a town whose bad men are armed with machetes, knives and guns They walk and hop, wiggle and drop and their mouth is filled with curse words that will scare a virgin Straight through the door.Badmen talk badmen words Badmen cuss and sware bad words, swirling death threat around me and crossing the barrier infront of me I tried to figure it out and refused to get entangle in a brawl, the parrots listen carefully within the gates While courage speeds up with a destiny that is getting late But when I try to keep silent my Spirit muse and I feel the heat bursting beneath my shoes oh what a pity? They are definatly part of a group sent on a mission to compete and confuse, some of them walk around in green and they wear pink to look clean.I am still trying to figure it out but their accomplice starts to shout and their inconsistency is floating from town to town from city to city oh what a wretched country I have not seen one happy daylight with praise When my heart was not set ablaze.Sunlight burning through the night wrestling with badmen who are putting up a terrible fight and finally Something that is mightier than them starts to melt slowly within them, hearts starts melting pockets starts emptying and the mind starts opening pants and shorts start falling to the ground Shirts and blouse start spinning around The guns and machetes suddenly fell one by one on the ground and the kinves could not be found.Badmen scrambling around in their nightgown exposing weaknesses underneath their thick skins But deep down the coward man lies gasping within.
