Poem
Nestled within loving home’s nurture inside family, shielding against hatred attacks having parents as human fortress, greatly steadfast around siblings exuding sweet belongingness-warmth… Verily blessed am I to experience wondrous heaven on earth. Called to be a part of the body of Christ worshiping the Lord with brethren in spirit and in truth praising, adoring the Saviour for His compassion so great midst ministerial stewardship for reaching-out along caring bliss… Indeed privileged am I to have a part in fulfilling heaven-propelled endeavors. Illumined with the Holy Spirit bought with the blood of my Redeemer sustained against ephemeral cravings of the flesh geared to behold magnificence of the Deity by trust’s vision... My heart longs to dwell in heaven where the Triune Providence reigns forever. Steadfast in advancing God's kingdom declaring the Gospel according to the Bible that the Father, love-driven, sent His only begotten Son Who did sacrifice Himself willingly for mankind’s redemption… Here am I prayerfully leading others via the ordained Way to heaven. Thanking the Almighty for gift of eternal life through faith in the Messiah --- the way, the truth now ransomed, re-created, imparted with divine nature to please Him, walking in His righteousness along holy paths… Privileged am I to be among His peculiar people, sanctified heaven* residents. Excited for the celestial abode with streets of gold delighted to inhabit great mansion built by the Sovereign persuaded upon Scriptures’ truth that in His realm peace dominates of no sickness, no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither pain**… I exalt GOD, Who in His mercy, grace, and kindness, ushers me to heaven! *Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. **Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. May 31, 2020 3rd place, "Heaven" Poetry Contest Sponsored by Regina Riddle; judged on 6/2/2020.
