This is why I dislike the word ‘yes’ -
It has put me in this mess...
But, I will celebrate cheerfulness my way

This is why I dislike the word ‘yes’ -
It has put me in distress
But, I will congregate with the brethren today

This is why I dislike the word ‘yes’ -
It has reduced me to hopelessness
But, I will integrate illuminating imagery day by day on a daily basis, so my mind doesn’t stray

I love you all
I really do
I must stand tall
That, I say is true
I love you all
I really do
I must answer your call
And be a strong person too

I have made it this far
I want to be where you are
I am like a shooting star
With this bleeding scar...

I’m willing to seek help
I won’t yelp...yelp...yelp...
I’m just desperate for your approval 
If anything, I will stand tall through it all

I know that I know how to sing..it’s been engulfed in me from within
But can You bring me some more confidence and humility?
Pride has made me fall low like a bee’s sting against my skin
However...I’ll let you hurt me some more to make me feel...happy...

I have fallen victim to sorrow
I’m sorry to put it this way once again
I need you all to simply know
I love you all sincerely ten times ten

I will keep giving up my life for you
Just to be joyful and not full of rue
You haven’t a clue what I have been through
Maybe you do..perhaps, maybe you do..

I’m schizophrenic bipolar...
As the doctors say, say
I’m made on Earth to be sure
I can be glad day by day

It’s Pentecost night and my birthday, my dove - 
That’s something I should be truly proud of
Love can’t cost a penny in God’s eyes...
God gives us free liberty without lies

So, why do I hate the word ‘yes’?
Because I gave in to wickedness instead of righteousness
Instead, let me tragedy in reverse that
Let me flip the coin right off the bat

My cup is half full - 
What about you, beautiful?
Say ‘yes’ to godliness
It will make you feel accomplished nonetheless, regardless of sadness 

Wait - yes...
Is a love-hate word for me
Inner success
Is what I need profoundly

Will you be a success?
Will you no longer feel distress?
No one knows...
In silent wars
No one knows
Until you see my sores...
I will reveal them for all to see
Fellowship freely and oh so gaily 

The happiness and hope I feel is beyond me
There’s no more talk of shame anymore...possibly...
Talk of joy only
I just want to be free

There’s an opportunity to shine
As long as you and I become divine
It’s a surreal sign...
A peaceful design

That we all belong together
In God’s everlasting Kingdom -
I say Yes, 
Amen
