EARTHLY TO HEAVENLY MANSION When I think of a Mansion I think, of one with “Vintage appeal,” Stone architecture, welcoming pillars, A monumental royalty feel. Great palms and great magnolia trees, Defining the estate’s history, Pathways of fragrant perineal, gracing the air meeting thee, Standing breathtaking awe while approaching the grand welcoming door, opening to a scenic majestic stair, and towering columns, from ceiling to floor. The woodwork, framework, and delicious dark panels, like the dark chocolate, chocolate lover’s adore, Glistening prisms from chandeliers throughout, From the towering ceilings to marble floor. A guided host with an enamored smile, capturing the attention of its expected guest A grand piano resounding familiar tunes, offering the programmed tunes of it’s unforgettable best, Tasseled velveteen draperies, trimmed in gold, Furnishings of Edwardian times, Paintings of magnolia, and animals wild, Rare treasures and vintage finds. Ball and claw, and Versailles crown molding design, diverse dimensions from room to room, But nothing compared to the timeless painting, in the foyer of bride and groom. The very facets of old world charm, presenting fineries galore. Facades of wonder throughout the palisade adventure, with even greater dimensions to explore. A lifetime of sentiments within the opulent palace, facading wonder in every place, Such attention to the crafts of intricate detail, making significant every corner and space. The Vintage Mansion I’ve dreamed of and always wanted with the poetic expression of days of yore, A whole world of unimaginable treasurable wonder, behind the grand splendid door. Alas now time, has distanced this faded dream And it isn’t lost hope that I feel, For it is now the great hope of my heavenly Mansion, for which no possible thought can reveal. Crafted by the great heart of the Great Ancient of Days, Within the golden city behind gates of pearl, Like nothing an earthly vintage mansion so rich, Could capture the heart of this ol girl. He is Lord, that Multifaceted Spirit Diamond, Brilliantly cascading His Light of Love to everyone, To live with Him, much better than any earthly mansion, When this world is done. For all of the tears I have ever cried, He has carefully bottled each one, They were more precious to him than gold and silver, Like cherished diamonds until He comes. While there is a temporal earthy mansion For which you may never have the earthly pleasure, There is a promised one being prepared just for you, For the heart on which heaven is it’s treasure.
