They say to be broken is to believe your nothing They say to be broken is to believe you can't do something They say to be broken your heart is shattered They say to be broken you focus only on disaster They say to be broken you feel you can't be repaired They say to be broken you feel everybody can't compare To stay broken you feel god has abandoned you when need him most To stay broken you feel your faith and hope in society is lost To stay broken you feel your heart will forever be filled within a dark void To stay broken you feel the cold shoulders and stares as everyone turns away from you to avoid To stay broken you feel alone and the world is out to get you To stay broken you feel like there's no way out and you can't get through I fear the almighty for his wrath and anger is powerful to destroy all nations I fear the hands of god for he can destroy your very seed and all generations I fear the power of god cause I'm going through a storm and he can change everything but struggles and sorrow is all that'll remain I fear the eyes of the almighty for he sees all but does nothing to pull me out of this pain I fear the ears of the almighty for he hears my cries but I feel like his abandoned child I fear the understanding of god for some decisions he makes is hard to comprehend and a cruel world still acts out and wild To not see his work at hand with our eyes makes it hard to believe sometimes To not see whether if he loves me makes it harder to set my soul at ease To not see change happen overnight makes me think I'm bound to face these hard times To not see whether if my work and devotion from before was he ever pleased He's not pleased at all for your wicked ways robbed from the poor He's not pleased at all but this is karma at it's finest at your door He's not please at all for your wicked ways killed your very flock you lived upon He's not please at all but repentance is still at hand if you let go of your wicked ways and carry on Being humble and know the life you lived was full of lies and sin Being able to acknowledge that you can give back to those you stole Being righteous letting him in and let the light cast the darkness out into the open Being able to know his wrath is only because you are wicked but putting him in your heart will make you whole
