The Sublime Cavalcade of A Holy Ghost

I have no answers to this story of living
though I have lived with the tales of your tears
and I have waltzed in the songs of your smiling
softly kissed the dew of your loves with my years

No I have no answers to all the questions
laying unfathomed in the cathedral of hope 
all this struggle to find the eluding equations
which tally our lives to our dreams

This is no more than a tale I’ve been living
and its no more than the book of your lives

No I have no clues that will offer redemption
these are merely the words of a continual searching
to voice this feeling of meaning 
behind all the things to which we aspire 

We have danced on the dew in the morning
swung with the moon in the depths of the night
We have played mid the hours of loving
and wept the tears in the weight of our sighs

Seen a newly born child’s eyes opening
with all the blossoms of innocence defined
skipped through the pleasures of giving
we have shrunk in the penumbras of pain

oh my loves oh my loves
in this cavalcade of the sublime
I was with you all of the time

In this palace of loves own designing
there is a wishing well filled with your eyes
they are reflections on  the dreams of your laughter 
there as the years pass you by

And Angels come to taste this sweet nectar 
of all the love that you have saved
and your souls come to sip on this clear water 
lest they forget the sacrifices you’ve made

I am there with you all of the time
walking with you in this cavalcade of the sublime
