Virtuous Vibes

Have peace abide in me and you
May happiness brew so true
Who knew...
I’d be without a clue
But, with God,
Anything is possible
He does the impossible
He loves us sincerely
He loves us dearly
He loves us vibrantly
He loves us surreally

He gives us virtuous vibes
He gives us joy and childlike happiness
He doesn’t need to take sides
He gives us a toy of tranquility and bliss

With God,
All things are possible
We just got to have faith
Hope in Him then
Do it again
Till your hearts be unnumb
Play the guitar of grace
Play the violin of an unbroken vase
Open up the blinds and let me come in
Open up the curtains and forgive my sin
If You do,
I’d be a winner in Your eyes
I will speak the truth beneath the lies
I will speak no more evil for the rest of my days
I will listen...
Your eyes still glisten
Listen
To the silence of our mind’s eye
We are to live and not to die

We are to fly...
Even without flight
We are to try
With all of our might
To be...content
To be...confident
To be...satisfied...
To be...sanctified...

Calm the tension inside of my bones
Give me illuminated ice cream cones
And let it melt away the hardness from our lips
From our lips...our grimaces, get a grip...
Anguish and sorrow will be no more
I wish upon a spiritual Joy in store

If you love me,
You would keep His commandments
If I loved Him,
I would forgive myself and my resentments

I’m sorry..
I really am..
God’s lamb
Led astray...
Yesterday
But, today,
I am renewed in tranquility’s hold
I will be brave and be bold...
My hands are cold and numb
My feet feel like lead, but I will overcome

I will overcome
These waves of emotions,
Hanging over me like a ceiling fan from above
I love You
I hate the things you do

I still love my enemies so true
But, why me?
Why am I full of envy and plead guilty?
Am I ashamed of what I’ve done...?

I welcome the sun
With an embrace
I welcome His son
In front of His face
I will run this race
Without the gift of flight
I remember grace
Just give me a reason to fight
Just give me a reason to be full of might
Have some delight..delight..delight..

I don’t want to see you cry tonight
I wipe the sweat off my brow

It’s been 11 years of trauma
I’m sick of the hate and sick of the drama
I need His virtuous vibes now or never
