Poem
Nascent pristine morning awakens charisma, curtains of anxieties pulled aside-- oh look they reveal! A whitewashed wall proudly flaunting the crayon drawing, my daughter's innocent fantasies when she was nine. Windows of paraphernalia bask in golden glory, transparent dew drops gleaming with reflections dance to symphonies of swaying exuberant leaves to release an effervescence of aged promises I'd made. Ah! She stands embracing her blue dress, a friend strolling in orchards of timeless gifts, wish I'd watched her growing up with my own eyes. Alas! I wept in swamps of lost blank years recounting imaginations from perturbed oceans of scars, cluttered hopes against void realities. I shiver, frayed hallucinations no longer exist, bliss blooms in my hazy valley of ancient sorrow, parallel waves in hues of forgotten mauve dusk, surrender to the crests and troughs of merging waves as they spill pearls of visions from silver seashells, my dreams flutter with seagulls to fly afar, enchanted by the marvels of Aurora I cry, haunting blackness rolls down with tears unveils memories I'd preserved in oceans for years. The woman next to me embraces me with love, together all this time, yet a newfound daisy for me, shimmering in radiant blue, she appears to be my wife dancing to simmering joy, an angel in mists of dripping life. Musk-soaked fir tree gleams my grey imaginations, she descends dressed in her satin wedding gown tonight, wrapped in starry blanket we could oscillate with galaxies colliding under the celestial shades of moonlit sky. Multitudes pour from the corners of my eyes, rosy memoirs commemorating this heavenly jubilation, reminiscing more such nights spent by her side when I'd heard her whispers painting them to me. The impressions of my long lived blank memories fade in turning pages of forgotten cobwebs, my gifted eyes captivated by the mystical dance of my fingers tracing azure fantasies in wind, had I anticipated to take this glimpse in the end! Elated to awaken this obliterated gift of windows, I fly with visions and marvels to remember in colors, my senses at last, accept the abundance of eyesight, never too late to plunge myself in this dissolving cosmos, I wake up in heaven watching my loved ones in a gifted light.
