COVID-19 is like an abusive man

Him just a beat yuh fi nothing 

Lord help wi 
I feel trapped in the house not even mi mother mi want next to mi 

Brogad mi see yuh a try mi prime minister but it ruff over here in Portmore 

Mi in a the centre of the war zone 

Fear and anxiety a kill mi

Only God know how mi feel

Mi mask up and tek mi distance

Tan a yuh yard is a reality for the rich

Mi scared but mi still must hustle in the streets 

An empty cupboard can’t feed the kids… they got to eat 

So I must run the streets

Mi can’t even tell yuh how mi worried fi the man that must pay him staff  ...him between a rock and hard place...keep them and pay them...I don’t even know how him a go do it

Lord God help him!

I now realize how freedom sweet
  
Jah know...COVID-19 need to tek a flight and leave
