Poem
On the top of the wall, expectant faces, watching, the strange guests, they did wish to see, Now, the upward road lined with people, From the golden gates, upwards, hundreds did line the way. Murmurs went up and down the lines of people. cheers and clapping did sound, the first of the ceremonial guard enters the gates, more cheers, as more guards did enter, then silence, the spiders and the Spider riders. they come through the gates of gold. Cheers, then silence, the procession started upwards, the people murmur no longer, they now see the horror up close, their voices now shout in anger and hatred, many averting their eyes from this horror, they had all heard the stories of Akrah. The spiders and spider riders, the assassins, the murderers, Yet the people of Alahsar were glad, the Dark Man was here, they waited for the Dark Man to enter, some still shivering at the sight their eyes had seen. The thoughts of many ages, in ancient eyes, they were seen this day, these were ancient people, they were strong of heart and limb, these were not a fearful people, yet, these spiders and their riders, they did fear. Everyone seemed to know the old legends, they knew of the giant spiders, yet, the joy now gone, it would soon return to these people, One of the eternal would soon enter the golden gates, once more, the hearts of these citizens, they would sing in the night. The song, it has led the Dark Man to the golden gates, My Lords and Ladies, we shall soon enter the golden city, the procession of light, it shall follow the procession of dark, the people shall sing in praise, the eternal one does come. Come, my Lords and Ladies, we must charge pour horns once more, let us raise our horns on high, All praise and honour, to this eternal Lord of the Storm, my Lords and Ladies, "PRAISE AND HONOUR!!!!!" Chapter..........1..........Part..........2..........3a. Once again, the Dark Man's thoughts go back to the earlier battle, as his spearhead struggle forward, he sees Turvehr fly, Turvehr, the majestic black unicorn, with the mounted knights, across Badicha, he does lead the mounted charge. The giant spiders, coming on across the plain, Turvehr's wings spread out gracefully, his black elegance shining, all are now advancing, they follow Turvehr's lead. The thunder of the charge. To Be Continued..........
