People are starving
prices are rising
people are dying
tariffs are mounting
children are suffering
as predicted
life is worth nothing
and the expenses keep on mounting

Land is eroded
the forests are felled
while food mountains are built
the price in the process of disjunctive
it’s the need for the many
for greed of the few
and the earth is polluted
but by who

And the price keeps on rising

People eat poison
in the march of starvation
fortifications are built
and freedom is sold
by the profits of the weapons industry
but the cost of liberty 
is still increasing

Vaccines injecting 
for a havoc in some futures vein 
only thousands are carefully counting
while millions can’t do the same

And the prices just keeps on rising

Extinction is modern
technological mayhem
and count the cost of the corpses
around the world
each day
each year
each scaremonger fear
as the rising cost
is the rising price
which keeps us all 
surviving

And the prices still keep on rising

The price is the story of conspiracy
the truth now has an alien identity
a million new bibles
to tell us all who we should be
won’t cost you too much 
but promises 
you’ll see

And humanity is the enemy

And the cost of being alive economically speaking 
well that
that just keeps on rising
while the guts and the gush
the atrocities and blood
are all expedient politically speech-ing  

And the people are starving
while the prices are rising
and the people are dying
while tariffs are mounting
children are suffering
as they predicted
and life 
well life 
well that’s worth nothing

And still the price just keeps on rising
