Poem
The human ego, a deadly thing; it convinces we’re better,
more powerful, creators who have no limits and we believe its’ lies.

Greed = ego,
hate - ego
selfishness = ego
self-centeredness,
vanity,
inconsiderateness,
a desire for power,
Germ Warfare = Human Ego
it’s all ego.

Ego hides in the human psyche, preaching its’ vile ways.
It is the bloody conqueror who craves power; the King, Queen, President, Dictator who craves power and greed; it is the money-manipulated scientist who creates, without regard for the impact that his or her creation will make on the world.  It controls the racist, the bigot, the narcissist.  It says that because we have an education, money, a job, a title, that we’re better than someone with nothing; better than other animals; better than our own home, the Earth.  Ego is the putrid desire to raise oneself up by taking others down; governments and militia all obey it, as if it were their god.

Ego is the reason for war, hatred, callous and vicious acts.
Ego caused us to build a better bomb; create weapons that fire shrapnel, to destroy the enemy’s body.  Ego causes man to bring back disease that has been dead for more than a century.   To create new diseases and blame it on God’s other creatures; or the environment and Ego makes man rename it so that it doesn’t sound like it was created by man.

Gulf War Syndrome, quickly hushed up and forgotten, except for those who have to live with it, was created in a lab.  Hepatitis B, C, D, all varieties of the Bird Flu; HIV-1, HIV-2, AIDS, all created in a lab, by humans and and their egos; blamed on nature.  Humans have lived for centuries without these diseases, yet were exposed to other species.  Funny how they just magically appear in our modern age!

Man didn’t think about his creations; they went bad, spreading across this world; an attempt to stop the spread resulted in
yet, another version of the disease.

These are out of hand, yet man has created another; COVID19, the Corona Virus.  A sub-disease of the human ego.  Man and his ego didn’t stop to think, what would happen if it got out of the lab.  Or perhaps they did.

Now, a time of panic has come, a time when you can’t buy what you need; can’t sell because people fear getting the disease.  People are hoarding masks, cleaning supplies, hand sanitizer, food, and more; leaving many others without.  How selfish is the human ego!

Humankind is a strange lot, it claims to believe in a god, greater than themselves; its’ god must be Ego.  For if you believe in something greater than yourself, will you not have faith; will you  not fear death or disease.  Will you pray for help and protection and believe it to be so.  Fear, doubt, worry, they block faith; they are a barrier between a soul and the real God.  Whom is your god, Ego or a greater God?

If it’s a higher God, than ego, why hoard and hide in fear?  Because Ego desires it!  Decide who you are now, faithful or a slave of your ego?  

Yes, the human being has power, but it’s up to the individual to realize that true power comes from love and faith and only they can heal our world.
