Poem

Tap, tippy tap, tap, you sit there, and you type.
You’ve spewed all sorts of filth, that’s fine, I found the wipes.
All wretched, gnarled and empty, you poured onto that page.
Did you feel some satisfaction, while you bled pathetic rage.
There was a time not long ago, people said things to your face.
Somewhere along the way, zero tolerance, such disgrace.
No accountability, when their words, they cause real pain.
They just hide behind their monitors, alias, fake names.
Before when you went rogue of tongue, you had to watch your back.
When you crossed the line you bled for sure, you knew you’d get a smack.
Go hide in ambiguity, the shadows, they suit you best.
You know right where to find me, if you ever want a test.
A war of words, or weapons, I’ll even let you choose.
You heckle from the background, because you know you’ll lose.
I present this as a challenge, one I know won’t come to pass.
Because I’ve endured so many hardships, and you, you’re made of glass.
