Poem

Tonight I allow you to visit my mind
Please remain seated, sit back while you find
The beauty of mystery as Da Vinci would code
I welcome you all to my humble abode.
   I am the writer of taciturn night
Taking a step into the light
A poet of truth and fantastical vibes
The spirit of mystic and magic resides.
   I see the world as confiscated
Individual thought of a people baited
Serving the rich to weed the poor
Only the absence of mind to adore.
   I see the homeless in your city streets
While children are taken by the devils elite
I season these turmoils through shattered dreams
Living a life of forced extremes.
   Within the same sentence I write of the trees
All of the magic in flowering leaves
I scribe upon waves, emotions fare
A junkie of words and loves despair.
   This was a visit, a touch if you please
A moment of time or angled degrees
Within my mind words ignite
I am the writer of taciturn night.
