Poem
Lord, we honour You in our spiritual triumph* that shows Your compassion… Always ready since our regeneration Surely available for our sanctification That we may be more faithful in our spiritual devotion. Lord, we thank You for our faith triumph** that manifests Your grace… Always marvelous since our pardon from sins and hell’s trace Surely wonderful for our conviction’s strengthening brace That we may be more committed in our Christian race. Lord, we praise You midst our thanksgiving triumph that asserts Your mercy… Always sustaining since our ransom from Satan’s piracy Surely abounding for our testimony’s efficiency That we be more diligent in our holiness-walk’s consistency. Lord, we exalt You through our lockdown triumph that radiates Your peace… Always soothing our souls since our healing from iniquities’ disease Surely reliable for our comfort while Your heart we strive to please That we may be more fervent in our faith, while in praying, we don’t cease. Lord, we lift You along our Gospel-sharing triumph that preaches Your Word… Always at work since our inclusion in Your divine record Surely mighty for our transformation as life-changing sword That we may be more steadfast, resisting to be worldly-devoured. Lord, we esteem You by our prayer-triumph that exposes Your power Always effective since our submission to Your sovereign tower Surely helpful for our determination to be both Bible-hearer and doer That we may be more productive as Gospel seed-sower. Lord, we worship You with our service-triumph that affirms Your victory Always evident since our rescue from eternal penalty’s fury Surely magnificent for our proclamation of Your love story That we may be more joyful in serving You toward heavenly glory. *Psalm 47:1 O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph. **2Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
