Drifting away, a worthless slave to fantasy's demise
Not a very uncommon feeling to feel today
Reality is filled with evil deception and merciless lies
Not a very uncommon thing to say these days

I could not heal the scars within my heart
I could not see myself at first, tearing apart
I could be high or low in your embrace once more
I could be higher or below your shadow's gravity galore

Crying is a waste of time…
Lying is too late in its prime

I'm stronger than a million men
Oh wow, how time flies
Stronger than your lies have been
In my starlit, sea eyes, 
I will shed tears of shameless joy again
I'm saying hello to your goodbyes

Taunted by your rejections
Haunted by your reflections…

Starlit eyes of mine,
Will you ever shine?
Starlit eyes of a different kind and a quite unique mind
Will you please shine upon me until I become blind?

Shards of you chain me to corruption's hold
You told me I was bold enough to face the cold
My successful progress has made you jealous
Well, I'm sorry nonetheless...can you be happy regardless?

Enlighten my eyes that dim 
Delightfulness is a day away
The sky is warm, yet so grim
Distressfulness does what it may

I will stay here
Without fear…
I will hold you dear
For a century of cheer
I will stay here
Leave me not behind, I fear
I will forever shed this tear
In my starlit eyes of Aphradere

I will stray away
From the wicked winds of dismay and the moonlight of diminishing disarray...
Drift away today
Into the potent fires of my desire and I pray you catch me before being led astray

Fallen deep below the ashes of my past
Amber is the color of my burning, churning soul
My feet has fallen fast into trouble; alas,
My love, I have done you wrong, so the truth I let unfold

Seeking a solace, solemn-less outlet
I am bleeding out remorse beyond regret
Unavoidable drum beats in the dead of night
Ring in my ears constantly and it gives me fright

I'm unbearably upset…
I need another outlet…
Play me like a piano of passionate bliss
I remember you, shimmering above like stars
While I'm down here, picking at past scars...
Play me like a violin of vital vivaciousness
I have met up with misery
Deliver me...from grief's glee

Let my universe eyes kiss your own
Let us both step foot into the unknown
Follow me...follow me...come here please…
Falling away from fear and embracing a life at ease -
That is what's meant to be…
For you and me possibly…
Feeling numb in my lonesome cranium,
But our heart, together, is pure titanium
This is what remains of us -
A fragment of faithfulness

Swaying away, a hopeless butterfly to fantasy's daunting demise
Not a very uncommon imagery to embark on without hitting the brakes
You will see that I'm broken and precious in galaxies of eyes
Now, that is an incredible, sacred treasure to keep for healing's sake
