Poem
I can feel my spirit crying And I can tell that someone is dying I can feel my spirit crying When a special tear drop from my eyes It is not a tear of worry, Neither is it a tear of anxiety It is not a tear of pain And it is not a tear of shame It is not the tear that flows when you are sad It is a tear that runs deep When I am connected to the Gods It is not emotional and it is not sensual It is the tear that atomically flow When the Gods wants me to glow They are in touch with my heart beat And they know when my spirit is deep This tear only flow once to remind me that The Gods have not forgotten me I stand aloof in the midths of it But deep down I know that I can handle it It is the silent war that is going on outside That is targeted to capture the pinnacle of my mind And I said to myself what I have to do with this? Yet I am caught up in the middle of it A sudden chance a sudden dance And I just cannot understand it I only have my eyes set on you So I changed the tune before noon To see the sunset on the mountain And went back where it all began From the very moment I saw you Standing behind the podium There was something special about you It was courage that resonated in your voice And your cool spirit that made me rejoice And stirred the emotion in me The sternness, the boldness And the power in your feet That made me wants to leap And when you got beaten up I did not fuss because I know that you would come back fired up They say that the wicked man is dead that was stealing my bread But I know for sure that the woman is still alive And occupies the highest position in the sky I always feel connected to your soul And it keeps moving around with me everywhere I go This attachment is very deep and sometimes I feel complete The common man cannot understand exactly where I stand I am here and you are somewhere in Maidenhead Cursing on the bank of the river Thames Watching the night sky As the stars make their final début in the marriage bed I am feeling hot and water is dripping from my back I am patiently waiting to share this precious moment When I get a chance to meet with you Prince and princesses adorn in gold Duke and Duchess sitting upon the throne And I am millions of miles away from you I waited all summer and you did not come And now I am getting ready to run Christmas did nothing for me But bring pardon and victory for many And that alone made me happy I had ice-mint for my Christmas dinner And cherries for my evening supper And it kept my spirit from getting cold I can still feel my spirit crying And the birds are out flying I am still in a penitent mood As the noisy traffic parade up and down the street The New Year’s crowd is just strolling in, Waiting on heaven to greet them with a grin I am trying to get into the mood but you are not here Only if you could just come out of the closet The world would join hands with you Where are you today? In London or maidenhead New York or California All these questions keep going around in my head Everything has been dry all summer And all the signs and symbol I saw Throughout my Journey has a message wrapped up for you How can I go to maidenhead? When someone else is in my bed? I thought the game was over And you were coming to meet me this summer I saw the sunflower on someone’s attire The last day you made your final speech in parliment I knew that you were coming into the strong heat I waited and I waited for mission to complete But you did come and I could not have fun Everyone else were body double, Harassers, mockers, and scorners I don’t know them I have never met them and I have never spoken to them I have never slept in their bed All my focus was on you And I will not have peace until I meet you Twenty nineteen is almost over And I am anticipating a new beginning Come and visit me in Jamaica before I move over That would be my best New Year’s Gift The game is finally over
