"Forgive and Forget " (Verse 1) Everyone has been hurt Some point in their life They couldn't drown their self in misery Had to get it right(right) People have did and said things They can't take back Walking another direction Trying to cover they tracks No get backs , tik for a tac You Don't have to be like that If you want peace and trying to live You have to forget and forgive (Chorus) You will have peace When you let go Of things That are out of your control Don't hold on to the past Look to your future Forgive and Forget It will suit you (Verse 2) Life ain't fair Those are the words you keep saying It's up to you to do great But you playing Procasinating worried about others Instead of helping and supporting each other Instead of talking it out You walking out Holding on to the past Communication Is the number one key It's been a decade or two And now you set free Free of the pain That's built up inside Now you have forgiven What a wise decision Things are looking better Because you are able to grow You have let a lot of old mess go (Chorus) You will have peace When you let go Of things That are out of your control Don't hold on to the past Look to your future Forgive and Forget It will suit you Rap I dislike you For what you did You hated on me Thank that I'd ever forget You hurt me betrayed me Bet you thought it would phase me Naw it didn't I let it go I forgave you and gave it to God He helps me when things get hard And when there's negativity He blocks it My blessings you never stopped it Thanks for doing me wrong Hope you got the message in this song If The Lord and Jesus can forgive me Then I'll forgive you I just want peace and prosperity that's the truth I don't want a life full of regrets That's why I'm willing to forgive and Forget (Chorus) You will have peace When you let go Of things That are out of your control Don't hold on to the past Look to your future Forgive and Forget It will suit you Repeat until chorus fades Written by: Concetta Hardnett 12/29/2019
