Poem
I am at the edge of the sea...of the sea... I am falling apart as we opened the door Follow me...follow me...come follow me… Even in our departure, we are on the shore I am the queen of the deep ocean You expect me to walk with you at the beachside, but I cry Feeling so much squalid emotion… You reject me with your sorrowful goodbyes that left me dry I am the king of the desert… You make me feel like I'm drowning in shadows of the past You made me feel so hurt… You reject me with your sorrowful goodbyes and you cast away our joy that won't last You don't follow me In the shallow part of the sea I am the queen of the ocean No longer part of the commotion You are not the water of the sea You are the desert of reverie… I believe in happiness and such But, we miss each other so much You don't follow the answers to your fears You don't follow the river of my rapid tears You are the remedy to the scars of the deep You are farther than the stars can take and as far as we can leap I am the queen of the deep ocean You expect me to walk with you at the beachside, but I cry Feeling so much squalid emotion… You reject me with your sorrowful goodbyes that left me dry I am the king of the desert… You make me feel like I'm drowning in shadows of the past You made me feel so hurt… You reject me with your sorrowful goodbyes and you cast our joy that won't last You don't follow me In the shallow part of the sea I am the queen of the ocean No longer part of the commotion You are not the water of the sea You are the desert of reverie… I believe in happiness and such But, we miss each other so much Tonight, we are in a trance You won't stand a chance You are the king of the desert and I am the queen of the sea You will find out the way to the light You will try to find me with your might I am the queen of the deep ocean You expect me to walk with you at the beachside, but I cry Feeling so much squalid emotion… You reject me with your sorrowful goodbyes that left me dry I am the king of the desert… You make me feel like I'm drowning in shadows of the past You made me feel so hurt… You reject me with your sorrowful goodbyes and you cast our joy that won't last You don't follow me In the shallow part of the sea I am the queen of the ocean No longer part of the commotion You are not the water of the sea You are the desert of reverie… I believe in happiness and such But, we miss each other so much I am the shallow part of the sea, But you can't come back to me I am at the deepest end where the oceanic animals are… Let the waves of our faith and doubt flow... I am swimming with the sea creatures as far As far can go...as far can go...as far can go… I am the queen of the deep ocean You expect me to walk with you at the beachside, but I cry Feeling so much squalid emotion… You reject me with your sorrowful goodbyes that left me dry I am the king of the desert… You make me feel like I'm drowning in shadows of the past You made me feel so hurt… You reject me with your sorrowful goodbyes and you cast our joy that won't last You don't follow me In the shallow part of the sea I am the queen of the ocean No longer part of the commotion You are not the water of the sea You are the desert of reverie… I believe in happiness and such But, we miss each other so much You take off your blue-neon shirt In the darksome desert I am the mermaid queen of the waters below I am the sunset amongst the waves today, you know… We will not be together You don't make things a lot better You don't follow me In the shallow part of the sea I am the queen of the ocean No longer part of the commotion You are not the water of the sea You are the desert of reverie… I believe in happiness and such But, we miss each other so much The summer has ended long ago, But the spring will come Tonight, your scars will be mended...so, Let's pray for His Kingdom And for our joy to last Leave the past in the past, Even if I am the queen of the sea And you are the king of the desert I change my drifting mind - won't you stay with me In the sea of ecstasy...sea of ecstasy...sea of ecstasy… Oh desert of reverie...will we ever be free from captivity? King and queen were always and forever meant to be The sunlight will turn the night into day The ocean and desert is a tomorrow away Written and sung by J.W. Earnings and KAP
