Impeachment in the Constitution By Franklin Price 12/21/2019 Impeachment's in the Constitution, reasons mentioned there are three The first reason is Treason, the second Bribery Then it gets a little cloudy, with high Crimes and Misdemeanors The founding fathers, let us down, did not define for sore loss weiners The present situation that we find our country in, Is to have a seated President who committed higher sin. He spoke to all the people about all that he would do, Addressed us all, in all the States, not just the populated few. After We the People voted, Electoral College too, He had won it Constitutionally, which is what he had to do. Was not of the establishment, neither party had his back. He won as a Republican. Democrats went on attack. They were speaking of impeachment before he was sworn in. Did not want him to drain the swamp, or even to begin. Been three years in the making, now impeached for Trumped up reasons. The Democrats had won the House after several trying seasons Trump should blame much on himself, he would not control his voices. Voters rebelled, in the interim, made more Democratic choices The writing then was on the wall. At start, Pelosi was a mouse. She controlled impeachment process since she was Speaker of the House She knew that it was useless. Impeachment only half the fight. The trial moves to the Senate where the power's on the right. The reasons, for impeachment, have changed so many times. I could fill up several pages with impeachment reason rhymes Even if the charges meaningful and the Democrats correct They've changed so much, so often, they have no causes for effect. Even though the House is finished, with their impeachment reasons slight, The Speaker's holding the results, from the Senate on the right. She wants to see what they will do, if their procedures make her smile, She will forward all the paperwork, if not, she'll hold it for awhile. She still thinks she has the power, though she no longer has a say. The majority, in the Senate, will make this whole thing go away. Impeachment is a scary thing, if democrats had House and Senate, The Presidency would still be right, though Trump would not be in it When this farce is all completed and we return to status quo, We should amend the Constitution, so impeachment goes as so: Have a vote from We the People. Let the majority have their say. The results would be the most fair. Best for the U.S.A.
