Poem
Arlaghs, over the emerald green sea, they were advancing quickly, the earth seemed to shake, their run was relentless, they were indeed fleet of foot, already they had tasted of horse and man, forward came these hordes of night, across the mighty plain. some of the red had already charged, headlong they had went into the Arlaghs. twenty-three had fallen, the rest moving off quickly onto the flank. Now on the flanks of the Arlaghs, spider riders on spiders, coming on, mixed in with them. Goblin riders upon their giant wolves, already the wolves has veered off the main body, heading towards the mounted archers, the archers let fly a volley, the arrows did hit true. "WALK IN THE LIGHT!!!" the cry goes up, the two bodies meet and Hell explodes, bodies crash in mighty thunder, mortal and beast at odds again, sword, spear and shield, all hear resounding thunder, lightning flashes, as weapons strike, fury of war awakened. thoughts flash by, the fight for life does begin, all, their duty for too do. upon Badicha's emerald green, all shall fight, their terror held in check, so the world of dreams shall remain, if this be so, love's own wishes remain true. Onward all, into the cauldron, the most hateful visions of corruptive war, The Dark Man and Warrior Queen, they are in the same spearhead, both letting fly death, charging through the enemy, the tip of a spear, slashing through flesh, now, no one has a place to hide, light or dark, all can end. The spearheads, they are battling on, piercing deep into the Arlagh's ranks, the rectangular formations follow on closely, the sounds of wasr, loud, Death once more on the green plain, the screams of pain and death fill the air, Now, the thoughts of the Dark Man, they come back to the here and now. Chapter..........1..........Part..........2..........2. Now, it is time for us to return, come, my Lords and Ladies, come, mighty ones, hearken to my words, the song comes forth once more, let the song continue, come, my Lords and Ladies, let us return to the now. the five miles of emerald green, they roll out before the golden gates, rolled out by unseen hands, when this realm was young, we now are on Badicha, the Dark Man's remembrances ended for the moment, let us now see what we shall see, come, the golden gates await us. To Be Continued...........
