Poem
It will be wintertime very soon Here comes the evening moon Gradually, we'll be shining like the sun Eventually, you and I will be made as one Tick Tock Tick Tock The clock is taunting me... Tock tick tock tick The time is brawling me... Could it delete my history? Could I change my future? Why does life have to end up as a tragic story? Why am I so unsure? The church clock is chiming since ancient times We’ve been lost for so long in our fairytale crimes Come on and be free from our cruel, lonely anxieties Our feet are as light as a feather, spiralling in the breeze My mind is roaming...I'm in a haze of utter bewilderment But, I put to death delusional distress and nostalgic negativity Ups and downs have a big impact on our lives of lingering lament Longing to see what His elegant, gracious view appears to be, longing to borrow Jesus Christ's eyes that shine ever anew like a telescope that discovers stars, twinkling so true and marvelously Eyes enlightened and illuminated When the clock struck 12 once more… Ears eagerly wait to hear - so anticipated For what lies ahead...a hope still in store Eyes enlightened and illuminated When the clock struck 12 - when seas stood still ashore Fears escalated once upon a time and left others devastated But, not anymore… Not anymore… Change is a challenging chore… What are you waiting for? I’d rather not worry no more Sun is shining and the wind is blowing during the day Moon is dimming, along with the stars of silver and gray I want you to stay next to me...kiss me and embrace me today I don't want to be labeled or be self-labeling myself..I don’t want to be led astray by disarray and discouragement...I'm alive in your bees' hive of dismay My voice is rumbling, altering into whispers troubled by the clock bursting my skull open releasing tension oh, how agonizing deepening in my ruins and you’re the one to blame My voice is mumbling… Transforming into shadows No longer troubled by the clock Mending my skull shut Inner recovery is my cure Oh, how amazing! Rising from the remnants and ashes of shame Give me a chance (give me a reason) To start anew... I can see how time tries to Haunt me... to traumatize me... Give me some hope at least Wipe away the unmerciful decisions I took unwisely or I'll remain in the cluster of ruin Give me a reason (show me a way) To disappear... do you hear the clock ticking--it tries to Taunt me...to terrify me... Give me a sign of relief From this abominable grief Tick Tock Tick Tock The clock is haunting me... Tock tick tock tick The time is frightening me... Could it go back in time? Could I change the past? Could it fulfill my future in a flick of a dime? Why does time go by so fast? Under your spell...where do you dwell? You torture me…I’m falling in a well I’ve said “I love you” too many times The clock still chimes...still constantly chimes... I’ve bled too many times...You have regret due to the past times I dreaded this moment when He will reveal our crimes My dreams are broken But, I feel good with you around I’m sorry, I must flee and open Up treasures of paradise, for you pick me up from the ground You are forgiven and unforgotten - never again will you be captivity-bound We’re looking overhead for some sunlight But, soon the night will unfold with its might Feeling these Goosebumps – I’ve lost track of time in its perilous prime The church bells peacefully chime...and they shine - that, I can’t deny When it struck 12, we couldn’t believe that we were running out of time The church bells peacefully chime...they chime for you and I, can’t lie Never will I break your heart of hopefulness Never will I tear apart your graceful happiness I will always be your evening moon That glimmers bright, making you swoon Time is running out The clock chimes without a doubt It's time to leave… No time to grieve When it struck 12, Eyes enlightened and people looked in awe When it struck 12, Ears illuminated and everyone heard and saw The clock chime It is about time We leave without a trace No need to grieve all over the place Wipe the tears from your face And run the race of glory and grace Time is running out When it struck 12, The people began to shout When it struck 12, I will always be your evening moon That glimmers bright, even after the afternoon Never will I tear apart Your young, beautiful heart Gradually, we'll be shining like the sun Eventually, the winter day will be done When it strikes 12… When it strikes 12.. When it strikes 12.
