Poem
02 02 2020 Midnight: when the past and future are in perfect balance – What has been becomes what will be, what is, is what is not. What will be, is what was; what was never to be, becomes What is to be. It is the moment when all thing exist and all things are possible; When the future can be chosen and the past rejected; When the past becomes the future or a future that will never be, Or the past is forgotten and the future is a choice of what is to be. Time holds its breath. The clock strikes the hour and past and future attend upon the Present, and choice is yours: memories of the past proclaim their Right to determine destiny; hopes for the future lure us on, Seductively, without reason, yet compelling. And the moment holds, and we may choose.
