Poem
When I first saw it in the dark corner there where none would see it hidden away from sight dark green was its color in the darkness hard to see with few bright glitters catching the light smooth flowing curves it had without harsh lines breaking the flow all was formed to fit within the flowing style that it showed headlights were covered by flowing glass fitted within the fenders lines surrounded by rings of shining chrome were the first thing to catch my eye sitting low close to the ground barely reaching to my waist with mere inches beneath it lie been so close to the ground below only two seats very black and a shelf behind it where the convertible top was folded down covered by a fitted door in the back a inline four transverse mounted 820 cc mated to a manual four giving almost perfect balance to in the dash looking of wood tachometer and speedo lay beneath them toggle switches were the electric circuits to control the heater a wonder had a toggle switch for winter cold a heating coil to turn on the one could have instant heat and near it there one could find something that seemed before it's time a hand throttle that would let you set is speed that the car would go in the dash someone crudely had cut a hole in the fake wood and within the hole had stuck an AM transistor radio getting in I did find very much to my surprise lots of room to fit mine my height of great extreme turning on a throaty murmur and making a shift quick and tight working the clutch so very light and discovering the high redline little suspension did it have feeling every rock that it hit and feeling that you must surely be sitting right upon the road Mustangs and Camaros were surprised as the red light would change to see me racing leaving them behind till I made my first shift 8000 RPMs would let me very quickly go from 0 to 40 mph quick second gear however then would let them leave me far behind a chrome gas cap on rear deck set a rag was needed to clean up when one filled up the gas tank holding about 10 gallons of fuel many girls did I scare with my spyder green when they would dare to take a ride with me going round corners not slowing down long ago when I was young a green spyder I once had so much fun was it to drive long ago when I was young
