"Scarecrow" Worldliness in those who traverse poets’ re-edited edited re-edited thoughts; semicolan, pause their notes; Mark a line crossed black on a Poet’s cross caught still breeze blowing through tightly tied forgotten Love Knots See there, an entire field of a thousand or more Scarecrows nodding fixed to one spot Witnessing all through footprints left in another's foreign terrain frozen cold black footprints somehow become pure white in the bitter cold, all invisible, now, in the unmarked snow - like ghosts unseen and coddled for a while, then like the unrelenting changing waves in an Ocean transpose to their sullen lake tides they walk on water across your eyes' mind seen visible real Read RED for just a brief moment - just a swift little while; A field of Scarecrows nodding fixed to one spot Then eventually seen there, a different plot - Not to be left waiting like a battered Scarecrow Love uncovered discovered for the first time in a strange place Where through passionate thoughts a Che Guevara wind blows eradicates and dissolves footprints from a burning past and closes the floodgate to passive acceptance of Chaos Words like Black Crows slip their shiny sharp beaks through the slip notes of horse-haired solitary jackets and then to chew course ropes cawing, lifting and transporting the trapped and now free none The Story rebounds Novocaine Grey to a shining unburnished northern type Light Dead and dulled the unsure freedom frightened Confederate Ghosts remain hanging in a field like Scarecrows waiting to be reignited by some kind of unknown Love released by words that fly like Black Crows This then, is the story behind the True Scarecrow Only the soul of a Child that remains in a Scarecrow knows for they are holding the Snowglobe The Blind in a random field turn, lonely, sensating all, all Nodding heads packed in straw instinctively, they know (LadyLabyrinth/2019) gvlm "Mother is the name for God in the hearts and lips of little children." (William Makepeace Thackeray)
