Poem
I must tell you of a yarn About the Prince’s barn It sits on a hill Overlooking an area where there was so much kill Today it is a place where one goes to find peace And think about their deceased. Oh yes it was the Prince’s barn And yes, I did say this was a yarn about that place that had so much charm. It was during the holiday season And for some reason The Prince was at the barn Checking on what was happening at the farm. With decorations galore He was trying to forget the centuries old war So, the Prince had his glass of wine And took some time Before his enemy arrived Whose only mission was to forcefully take without a buy It was time to go he did know Go somewhere Other than here To live a quiet life with his royal wife While traveling due to his enemy’s hell He started to feel not too well Which made them stop in London for a spell. “Oh my dear Prince,” the British did say “You do not want to go back there where the evil has settled in on this day” “So where should I go when I feel better you know” To the States the British told their mates After he recovered, he took his daughter along with her mother On another journey across the ocean hoping that this America will be the right potion. But during this trip another sickness was written into the royal script This time the daughter fell ill as a result to another nasty health care spill Now this Prince hoped he was in the right Turning his back while his country was in a fight He saw there was a tremendous light In this new world that gleamed with might Years did pass and a large family did a mass There were gains and pains throughout the years And the family got through it despite dealing with tears But what was the deal with this royal seal So it started to matter after the evil one figured out what in life really did matter They let go of the Prince’s land and there was no need for a military stand. Despite this decision by an international ref happened decades after the Prince’s death He must be up there watching from a far The development of a reborn country healing from their scar I sit here a descendent for those who had to escape Hoping well things will be settled and everyone will have things straight. I have to confess my life was altered by this mess Once again it was a bug who attack me without even a hug. Finding strength in my blood I know it was time to take on what? Making sure my great grandfather who was a property owner Was at peace in the heavens with the evil one who only was a moaner. Looking to the sky I am not going to lie Proud to be who I am Even though America sometimes is known to scam. I know we will come together like perfect words in a biblical letter To honor those who suffered knowing their spirituality made them tougher. Staying strong against the evil ones wrong Standing tall in front of the crosses that were built as a wall Remember it was in God who America trusts and money was the trigger to the evil one’s busts. They had to cut back that made their power surges pack Today the Prince’s land is now free And that is for all to see.
