Poem
You're back in our lives, my brother… I am relieved, yet grieved like no other Darkness took you away from me cruelly Now, the light led you back to life thankfully You were extremely lost, alone and cold in the streets of oblivion The shadows were comforting you to sleep...while we weep Your reflection has changed suddenly and you had nowhere to run Who knows what will happen next if you were still left behind in the deep I bet you were beyond lonely, jaded and grief-stricken In your hardship of turmoil and anguish Regret and bitterness filled your days, still left unspoken You were ensnared like a thousand fish I don't want to feel the aches and pains you went through I do want to fix your scars and let your wings shine anew I want the best for you and I'm sorry for your past that you and I can't undo I need you to know that you are stronger than you realize and that's true You're on the right track, my older bro You are stronger than you'll ever know I tried to look up to you when you did right But, you did me wrong with all your might I will always forgive you no matter what...no matter what, Even if past sorrows allow my happiness to be sealed shut You are going to walk the pathway of peace and that, I can't deny So don't lose your grip of hope and faith in the Lord Most High I can't imagine lying cold on the street floor of lament and shamefulness I cannot fathom the utter despair and anxiety you felt...I wonder in silence Break the silence I have been roaming about in for an awful long time Break the cycle of sorrow and remember there is another tomorrow to shine Shine bright like sunshine, for everything's going to be alright Have might and nothing will stop you from taking flight tonight Thinking of you homeless haunted me day and night and I am not exaggerating I still remember the good times we spent on the porch, talking and time-wasting Somewhere out there, I knew you were going to find help sooner or later I know that life is unfair, but God will guide us to the narrow pathway I'm sure I will be right beside you, even when we are far away and even in death, super cool bro Robert I believe in you, bro, so keep running the race of determination and have courage like an expert Bro, I am glad you are back in our busy lives again… Waiting until you and our mother will arrive this lovely November I remember there were days when we felt like a ten... Praying that both of us will make it to the Kingdom forever Bro, I am forever grateful you are back Rob, don't worry about a thing, so kick back and relax Know that you are better than a six-pack I sob because I kept worrying about you to the max I forgive you and the things you put me through I let go and let live for the sake of loving you too Bro, I can't undo the wreckage of the perilous past But, I'll show you that I'll try to be by your side at last!
