FEAR WHAT SCARES ME FROM AS FAR BACK AS I COULD DREAM THIS IS WHAT Fear has done to me This is a verse, bout’ what is cursed.. What scares you? Is it the crossing of a busy street? What scares you? Is it the meeting of someone new, different? And what scares you is it pain, poverty, wild animals What scares you life, death, shortness of breathe How do you feel when you’re scared… What scares me, no liberty What scares me, not able to swim And what scares me summer time when the heat is benign How do I feel when I’m scare, see I’m really not scare of anything, yet tho! I dream of falling forever… Down, down, down, down, I’m falling This reoccurring dream I’m daughting Always, always am I continually falling? I dream that I never, never die; I dream that the pains subside; I dream I run and hide and the evils of the spirits and physical can’t find me And when I’m cornered and in danger I just open my eyes and travel to God’s remainders I am in present reality time and no longer in dreamland How do I feel when I’m scare, see I’m really not scare of anything, yet tho! I can’t not die and I shall not die For the Father’s quilt surrounds me Just like Grandma’s patchwork comforter it embraces me I am covered in His protection, for I am His I’m react in a way that’s seemingly not O K For I can’t not and will not die I fear tho! In this physical realm that my Father not dead; He’s coming back home, back to the place bought and paid for; That I’ve lost now I’m ashamed I’ve lost a paid for dwelling on top of this earth And so embraced am I as he walks through the door This is the story that I fear the most That I’m not saved and that I’ll be lost? So I don’t need a physical home… if I have not Or if I’ve lost it “The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer.” And if most of my family dead physically buried and gone My God “He will never leave me nor forsake me. I do not be afraid; I’m not discouraged.” Despite my sins nature and my bad wrong choices “ I know that in all things God works for the good of those whom I do love him, I have been called according to his purpose.” I shall not nor will I “fear, for I have redeemed you says the Lord My God; Father you have called me by name; you are Mine and I am yours” Yet anything that I may fear this I believe an know dear “Perfect Love Casts Out All Fear” In finishing I guess in God’s truths…nothing scares me Hallelujah 11/05/19 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2019© Written for class assignment (WIPS) North Omaha Writers Group (NOW) Deuteronomy 31:8 Romans 8:28 Isaiah 8:28 1 JOHN 4:18 Psalm 18:2
