Sister Love your brother ALWAYS If you are older, hold your brother’s hand; If you’re the same age as he; Stay within his and God’s plans Allow him a hand to hold, a shoulder to lean on, And an ear to listen. Being a brother means building and breaking bridges. Sister Love your brother ALWAYS Celebrating many victories and mourning losses together that you’ll see Being a brother means so many different things to so many people, but it all comes back to passion and compassion Never ever Hate your brother If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Sister Love your brother ALWAYS Be A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire. The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” Love your brother Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.</center Sister Love your brother ALWAYS We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love abides in death Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple. A Song of Ascents. Of David. Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses. Sister Love your brother ALWAYS So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. Leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. Sister Love your brother ALWAYS And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them. Let brotherly love continue. With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at Treat your brother a neighbor You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Let all that you do be done in love, love your brother Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Sister Love your brother ALWAYS A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Therefore, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm thus in the Lord, my beloved. By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth. Sister Love your brother ALWAYS 10/4/19 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. ©2019 A dedicated verse to Brother and Sister Dilan and Savannah Sorensen Dilan’s Verse
