Poem
It has been a really hot summer Looking forward to a cold winter The summer heat is slowly cooling off I think the wintry breeze had enough… Been frozen in hellfire In my lonely, lustful desire I'm so sorry for my daily sinning I'm sorry for insidiously grinning I had a dream that happiness is a teardrop away It seems as if I'm breaking apart this solemn day And I scream...out your name in the flames of oblivion And I beam like the sun that shines bright like the dawn I had a dream that I was falling into the ocean I'm falling at the seams with so much emotion And I scream...without a doubt in the morning time once again and again and again... And I beam like the moon that glimmers anew...now, I'm wondering where you've been… It has been an awe-inspiring autumn Looking forward to a sun-shining spring Numb away the bitter rage and pain Bring me your one and only heavenly rain Tension troubles my dreary mindset It gets me awfully upset with regret I need to love those that hurt me so I want to think of happy things though I had a dream that happiness is a teardrop away It seems as if I'm breaking apart this solemn day And I scream...out your name in the flames of oblivion And I beam like the sun that shines bright like the dawn I had a dream that I was falling into the ocean I'm falling at the seams with so much emotion And I scream...without a doubt in the morning time once again and again and again... And I beam like the moon that glimmers anew...now, I'm wondering where you've been… Soar with me with wings of flight I am sore and need you tonight Adore me to the core with your might Do what is right and seek true delight Internalizing empathy Beyond sheer sympathy Love me for an eternity If only you'd be with me I had a dream that happiness is a teardrop away It seems as if I'm breaking apart this solemn day And I scream...out your name in the flames of oblivion And I beam like the sun that shines bright like the dawn I had a dream that I was falling into the ocean I'm falling at the seams with so much emotion And I scream...without a doubt in the morning time once again and again and again... And I beam like the moon that glimmers anew...now, I'm wondering where you've been… Crawling out of my drum-like, numb cranium My mouth opens up to eat positivity's crumb Hear the humming of hope inside you and I I would die for you alone and that, I cannot deny I would take your unbearable pain with mine I would let go of it into the whirling wind outside I would release the strain that's so serpentine I would grow stronger than I realize deep inside I had a dream that happiness is a teardrop away It seems as if I'm breaking apart this solemn day And I scream...out your name in the flames of oblivion And I beam like the sun that shines bright like the dawn I had a dream that I was falling into the ocean I'm falling at the seams with so much emotion And I scream...without a flippin' doubt in the morning time once again and again and again... And I beam like the moon that glimmers anew...now, I'm wondering where you've been… I had a dream that happiness is an ocean between us I had a dream that happiness is a teardrop below the bus Look behind and be left behind, along with fading away into pure nothingness, going down in distress Look ahead and find that today is filled with gladness along with marvelous progress
