Poem
The shadow in the night is smiling with me The shadow in the moonlight is dancing with me The shadow in the sunlight is praying with me And here I am waiting for you to come and unite with me Oh sweet rose Mary of the night, oh sweet rose Mary You are full of delight; your sunlit face is full of grace And here I am waiting and longing for your embrace Your charming Summer has just began and I can see You smiling in the radiant sun with petals tall and divine I can smell the fragrance of the roses around you And the precious pearls sent from heaven They are carefully positioned around your beautiful neck When the wind blows, it filters your fragrance into my bed And mystifies my mind with a courageous longing Charming Rose Mary of the night, you are spreading your root in my garden, and the dew from my feet has granted you pardon. I have searched hard and long to find a garden tune that will bring back sweet memory of my tainted youth. Oh sweet rose Mary of the night I have taken so much from you that has given me life, you continue to nurture my root, and now they are bearing many fruits. Ripe red cherries all over my garden, succulents’ grapes, juicy pine apple, sweet oranges, coconut water, yellow ripe banana and fleshy avocado salad with lettuce piled on top; the dish is sitting on my garden table waiting for me. Me and you riding on top of the highest mountain looking at night stars and strumming a cool song from your old outdated guitar. Oh sweet rose Mary of the night you are spreading your branches with much delight, I can feel the fire and energy in you And all kind of limbs are holding on to you. Strong limbs, tender limbs, limbs that no one can break, and as far as I can see your will is wrapped up inside me, begging me move on until I find the perfect one , I am going but I am waiting for you to come. Oh scented rose Mary of the night; come and be my bride of delight, I am longing to be by your side and sing that sensational garden song. We have been apart for too long, and I am longing to listen to your new song and hold your precious hands. The birds are waiting in anticipation and the ants are preparing for their final destination, the butterflies are busy too and they are calling me and you. I want to kiss your cherry lips before I go on that important trip. I am in touch with your beautiful soul, what is taking you so long to be bold? When you come I will bury myself in your strong arms and drown out the rambling sound of the battered storm, as it moves from tree to tree, from mountain to mountain until it accomplishes the appointed task from heaven. I will embalm my face with the fragrance from your scented perfume and adds more fire to my base before it is too late I have been waiting, waiting and waiting For the time to come when we can finally have some fun Its seems just like yesterday when we met on the way You were shy, I was reserved and we were both busy to unnerved Every day I feel your presence and your spiritual heat will not let me go. You keep following me around and I cannot get you out of my personal space. If life was the giver of life I would certainly give you a bligh. Dare to hold me, dare to touch me, dare to love me.
