Forgiveness is the best way (Duet)

You're the most precious person to me,
and, I know you bruise so easily,
but, sometimes I say things I don't mean,
and I know you hurt inside-then I go and hide


(She sings)
The easy part is loving each other,
but with hurtful words we cut one another
but, then we realize what we've done
and that we are both, only     human

I see the sun is going down,
and, I see that you are coming 'round
Can you forgive the things I said and did?
Being resentful is no way to live!
Forgiveness is the best way

We need to practice showing more kindness,
but, we need constant reminders,
We're living in such imperfect flesh,
Can we learn to forgive and forget?
